The Right Paleo Diet Foods Meal Plan Recommended By Weight Loss Experts


If there’s one thing that experts would recommend about losing weight it is to lose weight naturally. Products and services seemingly intended to speed up weight loss oftentimes just ends up the user gaining more weight. If you are serious about losing weight by natural means, consider going for Paleo diet. To take on this kind of diet means to understand more about it.

The Paleo diet foods revolves around five basic food such as protein from wild or cultured pastured animals, fish and other seafood fresh from the sea, eggs that are pastured, healthy fats from nuts, seeds, fish and olive oil, avocados, and organic fruits and vegetables. However, like any other diet plan, there are don’ts in the Paleo diet. This includes not taking dairy, salt, potato, legumes, refined sugar, refined vegetables oils, and cereal grains.


According to the author of “The Paleo Diet’, Dr. Loren Cordain, this is the standard daily menu for those who want to take advantage of this diet plan. For breakfast, there should be free-range scrambled eggs sautéed in olive oil with chopped parsley, grapefruit, and an herbal tea. For snacks, sliced lean beef plus fresh apricots or any fresh fruit will do. For lunch, Caesar salad with chicken dressed in lemon and olive oil plus an herbal tea would be perfect. Snacks after lunch should be apple slices and raw walnuts. For dinner, grilled skinless turkey, steamed broccoli, artichokes, carrots, and a bowl of fresh blueberries, almonds and raisins is recommended.

Another author and contributor of this diet plan, Robb Wolf, suggest on other means of eating your vegetables. If not steamed, they can be eaten in raw form or lightly cooked. For athletes or other people who are interested in other set of meals, he also recommended a meal plan. For breakfast, an espresso, a shrimp scramble with basil and steamed spinach, and ¼ cup of berries. There’s also a pre-training snack of 2 oz. of chicken or two scrambled eggs, honeydew lemon, and a cup of blueberries is recommended.  After training, a salmon scramble, a half cup of honeydew, and a cup of blueberries is suggested.
